Description
ProphyCare HAp is a fluoride and paraben free prophy paste containing hydroxyapatite. The hydroxyapatite blocks the open dentin tubules on the exposed dentin surface resulting in a barrier that contributes to relief from hypersensitivity. Studies* has also shown that products containing hydroxyapatite have better remineralisation properties than those of traditional fluoride products.
ProphyCare HAp is a one-step prophy paste offering effective stain removal properties at the beginning of the treatment, then the abrasive effect gradually reduces, giving the ProphyCare HAp its final polishing properties at the end of the treatment.
The paste has an appealing mild mint taste with smooth and creamy texture which is pleasant for patients of all ages. It does not splatter, liquify or separate and is easy to rinse-off.
